Sisters Coffee has been caffeinating and feeding wilderness goers since 1989. Come join our team in Sisters Oregon, nestled at the base of the Three Sisters Mountains.

Founded in 1989 in a small wood cabin, Sisters Coffee was the first coffee roaster in the Central Oregon area. We exist to create an authentic coffee and food experience built on a deep love for our craft, and a heartfelt kindness for the people and communities we serve. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our baking team at our flagship cafe and roastery in Sisters, OR. We are looking for a team member who will demonstrate excellent customer service, exceptional communication with fellow team members, and consistent delivery of beautiful and delicious products. We have a special focus on hospitality in a team driven, high volume and fast-paced cafe environment.

 1-2 years of baking experience is required with availability on both weekends and weekdays. 


Opening Baking Preparation

  • Responsible for opening the day and getting pastries out for the opening of the shop.

  • Stocking the pastry case throughout the mornings in the café.

  • Helping out other kitchen teammates by maintaining the kitchen good-working order, keeping the stations clean, washing dishes, and periodically doing additional deep cleaning.

  • Work in partnership with Kitchen and Bar staff to complete daily tasks. 

  • Consistently prepare and serve high quality pastries in an expedient manner.

  • Demonstrate a calm demeanor during peak periods, and set a positive example for staff. 

  • Demonstrate a consistent enthusiasm for preparing and serving food in a fast paced, high volume work environment. 

  • Maintain cleanliness and health code regulations during pastry preparation. 

  • Coordinate and communicate with your team on cafe business, meetings, events and trainings. 

  • Eager to learn and grow with our company, self-starter and 'can-do' attitude, punctual and reliable.

  •  Take responsibility to learn all areas your position and be willing and excited to fix mistakes when mistakes are made.

  • Be passionate and excited about what you do.

  • Actively work to help others complete assigned tasks. Be proactive. Always look around and take initiative to find tasks to do during downtime, while remembering that your station is still priority.

  • Focus on being trustworthy and reliable: show up to your shift on time every time.

  • Be aware of your strengths and weaknesses and ask for help when you need it.

  • Come to work with a genuine positive outlook.

  • Make sure conversations behind bar are geared towards customers, focused on our industry, and are at all times appropriate.

  • Make sure conversations in the kitchen are appropriate and that they do not pull you away from your job.

  • Extend respect towards the people around you at all times, and carry yourself in confidence and self respect, in the way you speak, dress, and act.
