Friday February 10, 7 p.m. at Sisters High School. Sisters Folk Festival Winter Concert Series presents Martyn Joseph. A Welsh singer and songwriter, he has the unique quality of telling a story that seems urgent and important. Joseph, the 2011 Sisters Folk Festival Encore Performer, roused the festival audience with his intimate performances, and his endearing songs of hope and justice. He brings with him a career spanning over thirty albums, his latest, “Under Lemonade Skies,” has been critically acclaimed for “...demonstrating his unique ability to connect with an audience wherever they stand on life’s journey and tap them on the shoulder, reminding them that they’re not alone.”
