Our Kitchen Team is Hiring a Sous Chef!

Sisters Coffee Company is passionate about coffee, baked goods and fresh seasonal made to order food! We've been serving customers since 1989 and are now looking for a STRONG LEADER to join our growing kitchen team.

This is a full time position that reports to the Kitchen Manager and includes essential functions with both the baking and food programs. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills and work ethic in a team oriented, fun & fast paced work environment.

Essential Functions
-LEADING a Team, Ordering, Inventory, Menu Development, Costing and Margin Analysis.

-Opening the kitchen and responsible for baking off the morning baked goods by 6am. 
-Fulfilling all food orders during peak hours of operation, including breakfast sandwiches and brunch plates with a special focus on quality and presentation. 
-Working cohesively with fellow team members to ensure all orders are prepared and served to customers in an efficient and effective manner.
-Communicating with the Kitchen Manager about any inventory shortages, errors or safety concerns. Working with team to help keep track of the department's weekly and monthly goals. 
-Other special projects, as necessary, to help the department be successful.

-Minimum of 2+ years of relevant professional experience in the food and beverage industry. 
-Strong verbal and communication skills with co-workers, vendors and customers.
-Ability to stand/walk 8 hrs per day. Ability to lift up to 30lb-50lbs throughout the day.
-Be self directed when needed but also comfortable taking direction when necessary. Weekend availability. Work environment can be noisy and hot in the summer.
