Sisters Coffee is looking for enthusiastic individuals with kitchen experience to join our dedicated team. These candidates will demonstrate excellent customer service, exceptional communication with team members, and the consistent delivery of high quality brunch plates in a fast-paced work environment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reports to: Kitchen Manager

  • Morning prep and cooking of breakfast and lunch, including but not limited to packaging and portioning delicious food with incredible care and attention to detail

  • Expediting food orders for guests in a hospitality-focused manner

  • Stocking the pastry case throughout busy mornings in the café

  • Helping out other kitchen teammates by maintaining the kitchen good-working order, keeping the stations clean and washing dishes

  • Collaborates with other kitchen teammates to bring recipes to life and supports in the generation of new items as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Eager to learn and grow with our company
  • Excels under pressure

  • Self-starter and positive, 'can-do' attitude

  • Kitchen experience preferred, willing to train the right passionate individual

  • Punctual and reliable

  • Available to work weekends

Barista—Hood Ave. Location

Sisters Coffee is looking for an enthusiastic barista to join our team in Sisters, Or. These candidates will demonstrate excellent customer service, exceptional communication with team members, and the consistent delivery of high quality coffee beverages in a fast-paced work environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Excellent Customer Service  

  • Welcome and engage customers with an emphasis on hospitality as they enter the store.

  • Provide customers with a warm, friendly and sincere attitude as you host their cafe experience.

  • Help customers decide on the right product by offering samples and responding to their questions with a sense of urgency and proficient product knowledge.

  • Thank customers for their order and ongoing support.  

Drink Quality and Coffee Preparation

  • Consistently prepare and serve high quality coffee beverages in an expedient manner.

  • Maintain exemplary preparation and serving standards on a consistent basis.  

  • Participate in ongoing tastings and trainings, constantly honing your craft as a barista.

  • Demonstrate a consistent enthusiasm for preparing and serving coffee drinks in a fast paced, high volume work environment.

  • Facilitate coffee education and ongoing coffee dialogue.

Maintain Store Operations

  • Operate with respect to company policies at all times, including well maintained coffee bar and a clean, safe work environment. Reflect the utmost professionalism when handling money and customer care at all times.

  • Represent the company brand as respectfully as possible, reflecting company standards at all times.

  • Adhere to company dress code, self conduct, and health policies at all times.

  • Promote thoughtful conversation and engage customers with coffee ideas and open mindedness to all beverage experiences.

  • Effective communication skills, ability to articulate coffee experience.

  • Continually demonstrate the ability to collaborate with your team members.
